A narrow waterspout was observed over the Gulf side waters offshore mile marker 39 of U.S. Highway One. The waterspout was brief, lasting only a few minutes.

Wider weather episode

Isolated waterspouts developed near Islamorada during the morning, and later near No Name Key in association with a convective cloud line. The Florida Keys were under a middle to upper altitude col region with very light lower tropospheric winds.
