A southeast wind gust of 37 knots was measured at Long Key Light.

Scattered thunderstorms, several containing gale-force wind gusts, occurred mainly over and near the Upper Florida Keys as an inverted trough drifted slowly northward over the Straits of Florida. An isolated waterspout was also observed offshore Key West.
