South Bass Island C-MAN Station (SBIO1) recorded a peak wind gust of 51 mph from a collapsing rain shower.

Lake Erie remained in the warm sector during the early to mid-evening of the 20th as a surface low moved from east-central Lower MI to southern Lake Huron and the trailing cold front moved east-southeastward across southeastern Lower MI toward the western shore of Lake Erie. Simultaneously, clusters and lines of multicell thunderstorms persisted generally eastward and southeastward across much of Lake Erie. The storms generated strong to severe peak convective gusts along and near the northern OH shore as the storms encountered moderate to strong MUCAPE and effective bulk shear, respectively.
