The peak wind gust of 61 MPH was measured at 1103 AM at mile marker 378 on SR 260 near Greer. Gust of 58 MPH ere reported between 940 and 1110 AM.

Wider weather episode

A shortwave trough moving through a long wave trough brought strong winds to portions of northern Arizona. The strongest winds were felt across southern Apache and southern Navajo counties.
