Limestone Canyon reported a peak wind gust of 66 MPH at 1024 AM. The ADOT wind sensor at the Intersection of Highways 277 and 377 reported a peak wind gust of 58 MPH at 1133 AM.

Wider weather episode

A trough of low pressure moving southeast from the Pacific Northwest lead tightened pressure gradients across northern Arizona. This resulted in strong southwest winds across northern Arizona.
