Event narrative

Widespread wind damage across the northern half of Clinton County. Numerous large tree limbs, power lines and trees were blown down in Jamestown, Breese, Carlyle, and Keyesport.

Wider weather episode

A severe MCS moved through the forecast area during the afternoon hours producing widespread 60-70mph winds and associated damage. The complex moved to the southeast taking advantage of 3500-4500 J/kg of surface-based CAPE.
