A trained spotter reported a waterspout off the coast of West Palm Beach as a thunderstorm moved over the area.

A frontal boundary situated over Central Florida brought a warm and moist airmass over South Florida, which combined with ample lift from mid-level troughing to develop scattered showers and thunderstorms over the area during the afternoon and evening.
