Greatest accumulations near the Garrett County line on Savage Mountain.

A strong area of low pressure passed by to the west, causing southerly winds to overrun colder air near the surface. This resulted in freezing rain across the higher elevations in the Allegheny Highlands where temperatures were just below freezing. Ice accumulation totaled around a trace with upwards of two tenths on the higher ridges.
