Structure struck by lightning along the 900 block of Mathis Rd near Sandersville Ga. Structure was destroyed by resulting fire.

A weakening frontal system moved southeast into an unstable airmass over Central GA. Steep lapse rates and instability meant scattered thunderstorms over Central and East-Central GA developed damaging winds and some hail.
