Event narrative

Two waterspouts were observed between Wisteria Island and Fleming Key. The condensation funnel clouds did not extend very far from the cloud base and no spray rings were visible. The waterspout moved slowly toward the west.

Wider weather episode

A convective cloud line developed over and just north of the Lower Florida Keys, producing a family of waterspouts and one strong thunderstorm.
