A northeast wind gust of 37 knots was measured by a WeatherFlow station at the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West.

A large outflow boundary moved south southwest off mainland South Florida and across the Florida Keys. Scattered gale-force wind gusts accompanied the showers and thunderstorms as they moved into an environment characterized by east southeast lower tropospheric and moist flow.
