A thunderstorm downed a large tree branch onto 10 Mile Road.

A pair of shortwaves moved across central and south central Louisiana during the afternoons of the 7th and 8th. While only a couple thunderstorms occurred on the 7th, a southward traveling line of severe weather developed on the second day.
