A power pole was blown down in Dermott, and the transformer caught fire. Multiple large tree limbs were blown down across town as well.

Wider weather episode

A disturbance in northwest flow aloft triggered a round of severe thunderstorms as it interacted with a hot and unstable air mass over southeast Arkansas. These thunderstorms produced some wind damage in far southeast Arkansas.
