The Cannon AFB ASOS measured a peak wind gust of 58 mph.

Wider weather episode

A strong portion of the jetstream passed over NM on December 2nd behind an exiting winter storm event. These winds translated to the surface in the form of high wind gusts that hit parts of southern Curry County near Clovis near the noon hour. Thankfully there were no reports of damage or injuries.
