The Vienna Mine SNOTEL site received an estimated 13.2 inches of snow. The Stanley Ranger Station COOP site measured 4 inches.

Wider weather episode

The first significant snowfall of the season fell in the southeast Idaho mountains. Some high elevation SNOTEL sites measured estimated amounts over a foot with 6 inches in the Island Park area and a few inches at some low elevation sites. Some accidents reported in Fremont County.
