One to 3 inches of snow fell in the Ashton region with wind gusts over 30 mph created hazardous driving conditions with 7 slide offs and 3 crashes reported.

The first significant snowfall of the season fell in the southeast Idaho mountains. Some high elevation SNOTEL sites measured estimated amounts over a foot with 6 inches in the Island Park area and a few inches at some low elevation sites. Some accidents reported in Fremont County.
