Union Pacific Railroad mesonet station RKRIVR (UP345) reported maximum wind gust at 5:43 AM MST 1 mile south of Rock River.

Wider weather episode

High winds from mountain wave activity across southeast Wyoming resulted in widespread gusts 55 to 65 mph late in the evening on December 9th continuing into the morning of the 10th. Bordeaux along Interstate 25 south of Wheatland gusted 83 mph.
