A five hour windowy of strong gusty winds were observed in the Laramie Valley, mainly during the late morning hours of Christmas day. Peak wind was 66 MPH, measured at both Laramie Airport ASOS and Herrick Lane WYDOT site along Interstate 80.

Most observation sites across the Laramie Valley reported strong wind gusts between 58 to 81 MPH. Peak wind gust of 81 MPH occurred at WYDOT site Herrick Lane, 13 miles northwest of Laramie. Peak wind gust at Laramie Airport was 67 MPH.

A few observation sites reported gusts between 58 to 65 MPH across the Laramie Valley. Peak gust of 75 MPH was measured at Laramie Airport.

Persistent strong wind gusts between 60 and 71 MPH reported in the Laramie Valley, mainly northwest of the city of Laramie. Peak wind gust of 71 MPH reported at Quealy Dome.

WYDOT sites and Laramie Airport reported consistent wind gusts between 61 and 75 MPH. Peak gust of 75 MPH was measured at Quely Dome WYDOT sensor northwest of Laramie.

A few brief wind gusts of 58 to 61 MPH reported just northwest of Laramie along Interstate 80.

Several WYDOT sites and Laramie Airport ASOS reported wind gusts between 58 and 68 mph. Peak gust of 68 mph was 15 miles southwest of Bosler Wyoming.

WYDOT mesonet station Quealy Dome (WY26) along Interstate 80 measured maximum wind gust 14 miles northeast of Centennial at 8:30 AM MST on 2/25. WYDOT mesonet station along Interstate 80 at Herrick Lane (WY27) also reported gusts up to 64 mph.
