Two WYDOT sensors west of Laramie reported wind gusts between 60 to 62 mph.

The wider storm

After a brief lull of the winds and after some snowfall across southern Wyoming. Even stronger winds developed mainly across the Interstate 80 corridor from southeast Wyoming into the southern Nebraska Panhandle. Strong gusty winds were observed further north in Niobrara County also.
