A cold front moving through the area produced gusty winds which combined with a narrow band of snow to produce reduced visibility and some snow covered roads which became slippery.

A strong cold front swept through southwest North Dakota on the evening of November 25, with gusty winds and a narrow band of snow. The combination of the wind and snow produced a short period of hazardous travel. There was reduced visibility and roads became slippery. One fatality (indirect) occurred in Stark County about 5 miles east of Dickinson along Interstate 94. The driver lost control and the vehicle went into the ditch and rolled over multiple times. A 59 year old female passenger in the back seat was ejected, and died on scene.
