RAWS station JPKM8 Judith Peak measured a lone gust to 59 mph.

A series of rather potent shortwaves and associated zonal flow resulted in a period of stronger winds across the plains of North-central Montana early in December. Short breaks were observed between periods of higher winds, resulting in several rounds of High Wind Warnings.
