Snowfall amounts around Lander ranged from 18 to 28 inches of new snow.

Low pressure crossing Wyoming combined with deep moisture to bring locally heavy snow to portions of central Wyoming. The heaviest snow fell across Fremont County, where a band of heavy snow set up during the afternoon and evening hours of November 23rd. Snowfall rates reached 3 inches an our at times. There were numerous reports of over 16 inches from Lander to Riverton. Over 2 feet of snow fell outside of Lander. Amounts around Riverton ranged from 16 to 22 inches. At the COOP observer near downtown Riverton, a daily snowfall record of 19.2 inches was set. Over 6 inches of snow also fell in the lower elevations of Casper, Park, Natrona and Johnson Counties. Portions of the Wind River Mountains received over 2 feet of snow. The heavy snow and gusty wind led to road closures over portions of the area, including Highway 28 over South Pass.
