Wider weather episode

A mid-level shortwave trough moving across the Southern Plains triggered a line of thunderstorms to develop across Arkansas and Louisiana on June 10th. As these storms intensified and spread east into Mississippi during the afternoon hours, additional scattered strong to severe storms developed in the unstable air mass over Mississippi. These thunderstorms produced hail and wind damage including some swaths of significant wind damage associated with microbursts.
