While most of South Central Texas had another month of less than normal rainfall, there was enough in some places to bring some drought relief. De Witt County saw improvement from Extreme (D3) drought to Moderate (D1) drought. Fayette, Lavaca, and Lee Counties went from Severe (D2) to D1.
