An estimated thirteen 13 inches of snow at Ski Santa Fe SNOTEL site on December 23rd.

A relatively warm winter storm system moved across New Mexico December 22nd through the 24th. The system provided widespread valley rain and mountain snow with only the high mountain peaks seeing high snow accumulations. Ski Santa Fe reported 13 inches of snow. Meanwhile, a line of storms developed across south-central New Mexico with strong winds causing a tree branch to fall on a house in Ruidoso. This line of storms continued eastward and produced a severe wind gust in Clovis.
