Broadcast media relays report from 8 N Park River of an estimated 8 - 10 inches of heavy snow.

In late October, a winter storm dumped heavy snow in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota over a period of 2 days. Due to mesoscale forces at play, some areas received a foot of snow or more where the band stalled. In addition to heavy snow, there was also blowing snow, reducing visibility across the area.
