Intensifying low pressure tracking northward off the New England coast produced strong north to northwest winds which caused minor to moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Virginia Beach. Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel reached 5.60 feet MLLW at 854 am on Sunday, October 15.
