Intensifying low pressure tracking northward off the New England coast produced strong north to northwest winds which caused minor to moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Currituck county adjacent to the Atlantic coast. Duck reached 6.07 feet MLLW at 806 am on Sunday, October 15.
