Event narrative

A narrow waterspout was observed southeast of Curry Hammock State Park. The condensation funnel cloud extended one quarter the way down from cloud base and no spray ring was observed. The waterspout moved toward the west around 10 knots.

Wider weather episode

An isolated waterspout was observed near Duck Key as a convective cloud line developed near the middle Florida Keys.
