Event narrative

A narrow waterspout was observed from area web cameras east of Duck Key. The condensation funnel reached all the way to the water surface and a spray ring was visible. The waterspout formed upshear but not connected to a long track, weak wall cloud.

Wider weather episode

Isolated waterspouts were observed near the lower and middle Florida Keys in association with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing along a decaying frontal boundary.
