Members of the public reported 8.0 inches of snowfall in Twin Falls, 4.5 inches of snowfall in Jerome, 7.0 inches a few miles south of Jerome, 9.0 inches in Hollister, and 11.0 inches in Hazelton, ID.

Wider weather episode

An upslope enhanced snow band set up over the Magic Valley and Eastern Idaho due to a closed low to the southeast, which created heavy snowfall mainly over the Interstate 84 corridor. This snow caused traffic accidents and widespread travel delays.
