Members of the public reported 9.0 inches seven miles south of Kimberly, 4.5 inches in Kimberly, and 8.0 inches in Filer, ID.

Wider weather episode

An upslope enhanced snow band set up over the Magic Valley and Eastern Idaho due to a closed low to the southeast, which created heavy snowfall mainly over the Interstate 84 corridor. This snow caused traffic accidents and widespread travel delays.
