Volunteer observers reported 0.1 of rainfall from bands of rain that moved through southeast Minnesota on October 6th. During the afternoon of October 6th, a tractor and pickup truck collided along Minnesota Highway 16 and Redding Road in Houston Township resulting in an injured passenger.

A band of rain moved southeast through southeast Minnesota during the morning and afternoon hours of October 6th resulting in wet road conditions. In Houston Township, a tractor and pickup truck were travelling east on Minnesota Highway 16 during the afternoon when they collided at the Redding Road intersection. The pickup truck passenger was transported to the hospital with injuries.
