Event narrative
Drought that developed during the summer continued through the fall. No relief was noted during the month as the precipitation deficits were large across Forest County. During the month, the southwest corner of the county was designated in Severe Drought (D2) with the remainder of the county designated in Moderate Drought (D1). By the 21st, a small area near the Florence, northern Marinette and Forest county line was upgraded to Severe Drought (D2) due to the lack of precipitation. The November precipitation total at Argonne was 0.70 inches which was 1.11 inches below normal or 39% of normal.
