Event narrative
Drought that developed during the summer continued through the fall. No relief was noted during the month as the precipitation deficits were large across Oneida County. During the month, all but the far northeast portion of the county was designated in Severe Drought (D2). The far northeast portion of the county was designated in Moderate Drought (D1). The November precipitation total at Rhinelander was 0.58 inches which was 1.17 inches below normal or 33% of normal.
