A record rainfall of 1.58 inches was set at Bellingham Airport on October 24th, breaking the old record of 0.9 set in 2001.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system off the coast of Vancouver Island pushed fronts throughout Western Washington, bringing lowland rain and first significant mountain snow throughout the area. A couple of record breaking lows were recorded along with maximum daily rainfall.
