A record low temperature of 23 degrees was set at Bellingham Airport on October 28th, breaking the old record of 25 degrees set in 1956.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system off the coast of Vancouver Island pushed fronts throughout Western Washington, bringing lowland rain and first significant mountain snow throughout the area. A couple of record breaking lows were recorded along with maximum daily rainfall.
