A winter storm warning was issued above 3000 feet for the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit county, with generally around 12 to inches falling at Mt. Baker between the afternoon hours of the 24th into the evening hours of the 25th.
Wider weather episode
A low pressure system off the coast of Vancouver Island pushed fronts throughout Western Washington, bringing lowland rain and first significant mountain snow throughout the area. A couple of record breaking lows were recorded along with maximum daily rainfall.
