Thirteen inches of new snow fell over higher elevations (9,400 feet) of the White mountains over a 50 hour period. Seven inches fell by 800 AM on December 23 (24 hour total). Alpine (8,000 feet) received 7 inches of snow from December 22 to 23.

Wider weather episode

A two wave storm system brought snow to the White Mountains over parts of three days. Higher mountains had significant accumulations of snow.
