An area of low pressure moved into the Ohio Valley with a warm frontal band of snow moving through western Maryland. Temperatures held at or just below freezing for several hours resulting in a quick five to twelve inches of snow. A trace to few hundredths of freezing rain was observed before precipitation transitioned to rain. Winds gusted to 40-50 mph.
