High pressure moved into central California during the morning of January 15. With clearing skies, light winds and inversion conditions, areas of dense fog formed in the San Joaquin Valley and impacted travel along SR 99 between Visalia and Madera and also along the SR 198 corridor between Visalia and Hanford. The fog lifted into a stratus deck by late morning.
