At the Wolf Point Airport ASOS site (KOLF), intermittent visibilities of a quarter mile or less was recorded for about 6 3/4 hours from early to mid morning on the 2nd.

Moisture increased over the area by a fast moving clipper system on January 1st which allowed dense freezing fog to form during the morning of January 2nd.
