The combination of low pressure tracking toward the northern Atlantic and high pressure building toward the Mid Atlantic region from the west produced strong north winds which caused minor to moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Currituck county adjacent to the Atlantic coast. Duck reached 6.06 feet MLLW at 1054 am on Wednesday, November 1.
