A winter storm produced 5 to 7 inches of snowfall across Tioga County from late evening hours of January 15 into January 16, 2024.

A rather disorgranized system brought an extended period of generally light snow to central Pennsylvania from the afternoon of January 15 through the morning of January 16, 2024. Snowfall amounts ranged from an inch or less across the northwest mountains up to 4 to 5 inches across the far Lower Susquehanna Valley. Slightly higher amounts were observed across portions of Tioga County.
