Trained spotter in Valley City reports 0.90 inches of ice. Observer reports over 24 hours without power, extensive tree damage in town, and icy conditions. Storm total ice.

Wider weather episode

This event lasted for several days, and up to an inch of ice accretion was reported in several counties across eastern North Dakota. Numerous locations were without power for over a week in the southern Red River Valley, along with slick travel conditions lasting long after the precipitation stopped falling.
