Localized dense fog developed on interstate 86 just east of Pocatello to the Pocatello airport exit and a 30 vehicle crash occurred with multiple injuries and one death involved. Visibility was under one quarter mile at the Pocatello airport ASOS at the time and Idaho State Patrol determined fog was a contributing factor. The interstate was closed east bound at the crash site for over 7 hours.
