Event narrative

Toa Baja EM reported a car trapped in flood waters along road PR-865 in Villa Clemente, near the American Gas Station. EM and Fire Department tow truck removed the car from the area. No one was injured.

Wider weather episode

The combination of a surface trough over the eastern Caribbean and an

upper-level trough north and west of the region promoted wet and unstable conditions during the week of November 6-9. This produced showers and thunderstorms over the eastern and northern sections of Puerto Rico, including the San Juan Metro area. Urban and flash flooding was observed across these areas.
