Event narrative

Mesonet station AV884 2 miles Southeast of Beverly recorded a gust of 86 MPH at 0722 LST. No damage was reported in area. Other gusts in the ranged from 45 to 55 MPH.

Wider weather episode

A shortwave with low level jet support pushed through the region on November 11. It brought strong winds across the Inland Northwest. The Eastern Cascade Valleys and the Columbia Basin received gusts in the range of 40 to 55 MPH. The Northern Mountain areas show winds in the 20 to 30 MPH. Around 1800 customers lost power.
