Dense fog was observed across the Upper Yampa River basin, including at the Steamboat Springs Airport - Bob Adams Field AWOS where visibility was reduced to less than one quarter of a mile.

As precipitation wound down across northwest Colorado on the afternoon of the 14th, clearing skies and trapped low level moisture led to the development of dense fog along the Yampa River Basin.
