Strong and gusty northeasterly winds impacted the Western Range of the San Gabriel Mountains. Some peak gusts include: Magic Mountain Truck Trail (gust 93 MPH), Chilao RAWS (gust 79 MPH), Camp Nine RAWS (gust 73 MPH) and Sierra Peloma (gust 62 MPH).

Wider weather episode

Strong and gusty Santa Ana winds impacted many areas of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. Northeasterly wind gusts up to 93 MPH were reported. Also, some strong northeasterly winds were observed across the mountains of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties with peak gusts of 66 MPH.
